Even routes previously explored are adjusted every time to ensure that everybody experiences something new. Thus, with each tour you will explore a piece of wildernis that is not marketed by commercialised tours.

SAFARIS

We cater for three types of safaris:

• Self Drive: This is the most popular option exercised by residents in the region who use their own vehicles and normally tend their own catering requirements. Fully catered options are also available on demand with an African bush spread on open fire.
• Fully Equipped Hired Vehicles: Also a popular option exercised by residents / or visitors from abroad who do not have the vehicle or equipment but prefer the camping safaris above the luxury lodges, and normally tend their own catering requirements. Fully catered options are also available on demand with an African Bush spread on open fire.
• Luxury Safaris: Caters for visitors from abroad and are all inclusive in respect of equipment and catering. Lodge accommodation in combination with luxury camping ensure that our clients will experience the best of both worlds. This is a more exclusive package for clients who want a true African experience with a high degree of comfort. With true open fire African bush spread cuisine.

VENUES

Moving to different venues afford clients the opportunity to experience the various Eco systems and wildlife endemic to the respective areas. We seldom remain in the same camp for more than two nights, but selectively stay at the best venues to maximize the best experience.

• Standard safaris durations vary between 8 to 14 days.
• Customized safari packages are available on request, provided there is a minimum of 4 clients for that particular safari.
• Maximum number of 10 clients per safari.
• We travel with a maximum of 3 clients per four wheel drive vehicle.
• Vehicles are constantly in contact with each other by means off two way radios, and are appropriately equipped for traveling in the bush.
• Crew members are trained in the administration of first aid, and are constantly in contact with the office in South Africa per high frequency radio and satellite phone.
• At any given time the exact position of the group is known by means of a Global Positioning System (GPS).

We also offer tailor made safaris, as well as a range of pre planned safaris, guaranteed to take your breath away, whilst traveling to some of Africa’s finest wildlife destinations and reserves.

Fanie van Wyk

Fanie leads open air team building projects (experiential learning). In 2002, he qualified as a specialist guide with SATOER in the 4X4 field.

Fanie handles the orginisation of the expeditions.

Jan le Roux

Jan is a veteran tour guide that has been heading Kwamvelo Tours and Safaris for 12 years. He is registered with the South African Tourism Board (PHASA).

Jan is a professional hunter that regularly leads international hunting groups.

Jan is 'n beroepsjagter en hanteer gereeld internasionale jaggroepe.
